Jamie Knecht, Watershed Specialist at the Wayne Conservation District and a friend of Shop Local Save Land, sat down with Bold Gold Media's Mikki Uzepes to talk about the Commmon Waters Fund for forest landowners.

The fund helps forest landowners in the Upper Delaware River Watershed improve the management of and conserve their private forest lands. Since the fund launched in February 2011, $250,000 has been awarded to 48 forest landowners.

The next deadline for grant applications is August 1.
